Description
Mr Hobby Water-based Weathering Paint Gouache Light Dust
Mr Hobby WT-05 Light Dust is a 20ml water-based weathering paint designed for creating varied weathering effects on modelling projects. Supplied in a tube, the paint can be used directly for dirt effects or diluted with water or the dedicated thinner when a more fluid consistency is required.
Light Dust provides a versatile weathering colour for modellers who want to build up realistic dirt and weathering effects. Its water-based formulation supports several different approaches, allowing the paint to be used directly or adjusted for techniques such as panel lining and washing.
Versatile Water-based Weathering Paint
WT-05 can be applied directly when creating dirt effects, making it useful when a stronger concentration of Light Dust colour is wanted. For applications requiring a thinner consistency, the paint can be diluted with water or the special thinner designed for the range.
- Light Dust weathering colour
- 20ml tube
- Water-based weathering paint
- Can be applied directly for dirt effects
- Can be diluted with water
- Can be diluted with the special thinner
- Suitable for panel lining
- Suitable for washing techniques
- Manufacturer reference WT-05
This flexibility makes WT-05 useful across a range of weathering techniques. Modellers can adjust the paint consistency according to the effect being created, using it directly for dirt effects or thinning it for more fluid applications. It forms part of the Weathering Paint Gouache range and the wider selection of Mr Hobby modelling products.
Light Dust for Weathering Effects
Light Dust is one of the colours adjusted by modeller Kazuya Yoshioka for creating realistic weathering effects. Its adaptable water-based formulation allows the same paint to be used in different ways depending on the technique required.
Whether applied directly to create dirt effects or diluted with water or thinner for panel lining and washes, WT-05 gives modellers a flexible 20ml Light Dust weathering colour that can be adjusted to suit the desired consistency and effect.
