Description
Mr Hobby Water-based Weathering Paint Gouache Basic White
Mr Hobby WT-01 Basic White is a 20ml water-based weathering paint designed for creating varied weathering effects on modelling projects. Supplied in a tube, the paint can be applied directly for dirt effects or diluted with water or the dedicated thinner when a more fluid consistency is required.
Basic White is one of the core colours in the range and offers modellers a versatile option for different weathering techniques. Its water-based formulation allows the consistency to be adjusted according to the effect being created, making it suitable for direct application as well as panel lining and washing.
Basic White Weathering Colour
WT-01 can be used directly from the tube when creating dirt effects where a more concentrated application is wanted. For techniques requiring greater flow, the paint can be diluted with water or the special thinner designed for the range. This gives modellers flexibility to alter the consistency according to the weathering technique being used.

The adaptable formulation makes WT-01 useful across several types of weathering work. It can remain more concentrated for direct dirt effects or be thinned for more fluid applications. The paint forms part of the Weathering Paint Gouache range within the wider selection of Mr Hobby modelling products.
Flexible Application for Weathering
Basic White can be used in different ways during the same modelling project. Direct application provides one approach for creating dirt effects, while dilution with water or thinner allows the paint to be prepared for panel lining and washing techniques.
With its 20ml tube, Basic White colour and flexible water-based formulation, WT-01 provides a practical weathering paint that can be adjusted to suit different applications and the consistency required for each effect.
