Description

Mr Hobby

Weathering Color Grayish Brown (40ml)

This Mr Hobby Weathering Colour Greyish Brown is an enamel-based paint developed for adding realistic weathering effects to scale models. Supplied in a 40ml bottle, it is designed to replicate the natural appearance of dirt, grime, and aged surfaces. The formulation allows for smooth application and blending, making it suitable for a wide range of modelling techniques.

The greyish brown tone works well for simulating accumulated dirt, subtle rust tones, and general wear on vehicles, armour, and structures. It can be applied as a wash to flow into panel lines and recesses, or blended across surfaces to create more gradual weathering effects. Its versatility makes it useful for enhancing depth and adding variation to painted finishes.

The enamel-based formula provides a longer working time compared to acrylic paints, allowing adjustments and blending before it fully dries. It can be thinned for lighter applications or mixed with other Weathering Colour products to achieve different tones and effects. This flexibility makes it suitable for both subtle weathering and more pronounced ageing effects.

Weathering plays a key role in scale modelling, helping to transform clean finishes into more realistic representations of real-world subjects.
