History
The Bell UH-1 Iroquois, commonly known as the Huey, first entered service in the late 1950s and became widely associated with the Vietnam War. The UH-1D variant featured a longer fuselage, allowing it to carry more troops and equipment.
Its versatility, reliability, and distinctive sound made it a defining aircraft of its era. The UH-1D served in numerous roles across different conflicts and remained in service with various operators around the world for decades.
