Description
Iwata Super Lube 10ml Airbrush Lubricant
Iwata Super Lube (10ml) IWA-015001 is a specialist lubricant for maintaining Iwata and other airbrushes. Designed for use on moving airbrush parts, it helps keep components moving smoothly and can also be applied along the needle and inside the needle cap to enhance paint flow and help prevent the tip from drying.
The clear-coloured, reformulated Iwata Lube is non-toxic and silicone-free. It does not have evaporative qualities and maintains its viscosity in different environments, allowing it to remain in place on the components where lubrication is required. These properties make it suitable for regular airbrush maintenance where smooth movement of the working parts needs to be maintained.
Where to Apply Iwata Super Lube
Iwata Lube can be used on all moving parts of an airbrush. In particular, it can be applied to the following areas during routine maintenance:
- Main lever
- Needle packing
- Valve-piston packing
- Along the airbrush needle
- Inside the needle cap
Applying the lubricant along the needle and inside the needle cap helps enhance paint flow and prevent the tip from drying. The lubricant can also be used on the main lever, needle packing and valve-piston packing to help these moving components operate smoothly. This allows the same lubricant to be used across several of the areas that benefit from lubrication during normal airbrush maintenance.
Silicone-Free Airbrush Maintenance
Iwata Super Lube is specifically silicone-free as well as non-toxic. Silicone-based lubricants should not be used in the airbrush trigger or air valve, making the correct type of lubricant important when carrying out maintenance in these areas.
The 10ml bottle provides a dedicated airbrush lubricant that can be kept with your regular cleaning and maintenance equipment. Its use is not limited to Iwata models, as the lubricant is suitable for maintaining moving parts on other airbrushes as well.
