Iwata Revolution CR Gravity-Feed Airbrush
The Iwata Revolution CR Airbrush IW-RV-CR is a dual-action, gravity-feed airbrush designed for effortless coverage and quality atomisation at low air pressures. Part of the Iwata Revolution Series, it combines a 0.5mm R5 head system with a fine-to-wide spray scale, giving a spray range from a fine 0.5mm line up to 1 1/2 inches (38mm).
The R5 head system consists of a 0.5mm needle, needle cap, threaded nozzle and nozzle cap. Paint is supplied from the 0.24oz (7ml) gravity-feed cup. The Revolution CR uses an internal-mix design with dual-action control, allowing you to control air and paint during spraying. A comfort handle completes the airbrush configuration.
Spray Range and Working Pressure
The Revolution CR has an optimal working pressure of 20-30 psi (0.14-0.21 MPa). It can also atomise at lower or higher pressures depending on the application, paint mix and compressor compatibility. Its spray range extends from fine lines to coverage up to 38mm, allowing narrower spraying and wider coverage from the same 0.5mm head system.
The spring-steel needle is designed to resist breakage, while PTFE solvent-resistant needle packings provide additional durability within the paint-bearing components. This set also includes an Iwata nozzle spanner and Iwata lube for airbrush maintenance.
