Description
GreenStuffWorld Flexible Masking Tape 3mm
GreenStuffWorld Flexible Masking Tape is a narrow PVC masking tape designed for precise and intricate paintwork on models and miniatures. Its flexible construction allows the 3mm-wide strip to follow defined curves and contoured surfaces, helping you protect specific areas while painting the surrounding sections.
The tape can be applied to a variety of surfaces and used on painted or unpainted models. Its combination of a narrow width and flexible material makes it particularly useful where the masking boundary needs to follow the shape of the model rather than a straight line.
Precise masking around curves
At 3mm wide, the tape can be positioned around relatively small and detailed areas while following curves and contours. This gives you control over the shape of the masked boundary and makes the tape useful for intricate painting jobs where broader masking materials would cover more of the surface than required.
The flexible PVC tape provides very good adhesion to model surfaces without leaving traces of glue behind when removed. It is also designed not to absorb paint colour or leave marks, helping to keep the protected area clean while adjacent sections are painted.
For airbrush, spray and brush techniques
GreenStuffWorld Flexible Masking Tape is intended primarily for airbrush and spray painting, although it can also be used with a brush with certain techniques. Suitable applications include plastic scale models, dioramas, railway modelling, military modelling, aviation modelling, model kits, model aircraft and radio-controlled subjects.
Where a paint scheme combines curved boundaries with larger protected sections, this 3mm tape can be used alongside other masking tape and masking products. The narrow flexible strip can handle intricate curves and contours while other masking materials cover broader areas.
This GreenStuffWorld tape provides a flexible 3mm-wide masking strip for detailed curved and contoured paint boundaries, with good adhesion and removal without traces of glue.
