History
Norman knights were a dominant force in Western Europe during the 11th and 12th centuries, famed for their discipline, equipment and use of heavy cavalry tactics. Armed with lance, sword and shield, they relied on shock charges to break enemy formations and control the battlefield.
Their most famous appearance came during the Norman Conquest of England in 1066, where mounted knights played a decisive role at the Battle of Hastings. The success of Norman cavalry helped shape medieval warfare for generations, influencing tactics, armour and military organisation across Europe.
