Explore Javis scenics and model scenery for railway layouts, scale-model dioramas and wargaming terrain. The Javis Manufacturing range available from Scale Model Shop includes materials and scenic details for creating vegetation, ground cover, boundaries and other landscape features.

Whether you are starting a complete scenic project or adding the final details to an established layout, browse the products on this page to find suitable Javis scenery. Check each listing for its stated colour, dimensions, scale, quantity and contents before ordering.

Javis Static Grass, Scatter and Ground Cover

Javis static grass and scatter products can be used to introduce varied colours and textures to model landscapes. They are relevant to countryside scenes, railway embankments, fields, verges, diorama bases and gaming tables. Select individual products according to the appearance and scale required for your project.

For more options across different manufacturers, browse our dedicated model grass, leaves and foliage and scenic scatter departments.

Ballast and Landscaping Materials

Javis scenery can help define the ground around railway track, roads, buildings and terrain features. Products listed within the range may include ballast, chippings, grass materials and other landscaping supplies. Combining suitable materials can create variation between maintained areas, open ground and rougher terrain.

When selecting railway ballast or loose scenic material, check the individual product information for the stated grade, colour and pack details. You can compare the wider selection in our model railway and diorama ballast range.

Fencing, Trees and Scenic Details

The Javis range also includes scenic details such as fencing, walling, trees and battlefield features. These products can add boundaries, structure and recognisable points of interest to a scene. Scale-specific items, including fencing marked for HO scale, should only be selected for a project after confirming the scale shown in the product title or description.

Javis scenic details can be used as individual features or combined with grass, scatter and ballast to build a more complete setting. Browse our broader diorama accessories department for complementary terrain and scenery products.

Choosing Javis Model Scenery

Begin with the type of scene you want to create and identify the materials needed for its ground cover, vegetation and structural details. Colour, texture, scale and coverage requirements will vary between products and projects, so review each Javis listing carefully rather than assuming that every item is suitable for every scale.

Use the product filters and sorting options on this page to explore the available Javis Manufacturing range. Product availability can change, so the listings shown provide the current selection of Javis scenics offered by Scale Model Shop.
